BJP MP Tanavade dismisses impact of Cockroach Janata Party; says such outfits will come and go
Panaji, Jun 5 (PTI) BJP Rajya Sabha MP Sadanand Shet Tanavade on Friday dismissed the proposed agitation by Cockroach Janata Party in New Delhi, saying such outfits created through social media campaigns cannot have any significant impact on established parties. They will come and go, he said. Digital outfit Cockroach Janta Party's has called for a protest at Jantar Mantar in the national capital on June 6 to demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over examination-related lapses. Reacting to the proposed protest, Tanavade said political parties are built through years of dedication, organisational work and sacrifices, and not through social media platforms. "If the country was run by political parties created on social media, then the country itself would have been run by social media. It is nothing like that.
